Lila's Child Care Foundation | 6.90

Lila's Child Care Foundation is a free school for disadvantaged children located in Mallam, a suburb of Accra. Lila started CCF in 2004 when she was just 24 years old. She visited rock quarries and markets, and talked to parents about letting their children receive free education. Now with close to 100 students, the school is still operating out of Lila's grandmother's house, utilizing a small room (upper right photo) and two areas in the yard (lower left photo).
